About the Park
The new park is named for former Mayor Mark Schwiebert (1989-2009) for his tireless efforts to promote public use of the riverfront.

The Landing Boat Dock was completed in 2014.

Park Rental Information
Schwiebert Riverfront Park is the perfect place for a wedding, special event, other activities including picnics or parties with rental areas including: 
  • Observation shelter 
  • Stage and Great Lawn 
  • Triangle Lawn 
  • Entire park 

2016 & 2017 Now Open for Community Event Rentals.
2016 Shelter Rentals will be available after April 1.
