Ideal for social event rentals such as weddings, receptions, business meetings, retreats, showers, graduation and birthday parties as well as other celebrations, the Hauberg Estate is available year-round for your next event. Known as the “Tulip Mansion,” the Center was home to Susanne and John Hauberg from 1911 to 1955, and the children donated the house to the City in 1956. 

Hauberg Estate is equipped with all the necessary items to host an event. There is a full kitchen on each floor and food can be brought in or catered with no extra fee. Also included with rental is the use of house equipment such as tables, chairs, silver serving pieces, dishes, utensils, punch bowls, coffee makers, and other kitchen items. For entertainment, rental fee includes the use of a projection screen, Wi-Fi connection, and even a grand piano. Extra add-ons include table linens available for a nominal fee. Alcohol consumption is allowed on property during rentals pending event organizer follows through with proper documentation, procedure and fees. 

For the bride and groom, dressing rooms are available, and many excellent photo locations can be found around the property. During the summer months, outside grounds are planted and Tulip Fountain operates.

 For information about upcoming Rock Island Parks & Recreation programs and events at the center, please call the Park Office at (309) 732-PARK. Site visits are only conducted through scheduled appointments with Hauberg staff.

Rental Fees:
House Rental (includes 1st & 2nd floor * $200 damage deposit required)
  • Basic Rate: $350 for 3 hours + $100 per additional hour
  • Full Day Rate: $750 for 8 hours + $100 per additional hour

Room Rental (includes use of kitchen * $100 damage deposit required)
  • Tulip Room (Living Room): $100 for 2 hours + $50 per additional hour
  • Tulip Room + Sun Room (2 adjoining rooms): $150 for 2 hours + $75 per additional hour
  • Other Room: $75 for 2 hours + $35 per additional hour

***Valid credit card required at time of booking for damage deposit.

Tours:
