SUSTAINABLE DESIGN ADVISORY TEAM
Duties
Are you planning a new commercial building or renovation project in Rock Island?
Interested in adding sustainable or “green” design elements but not sure which options would be the best for your specific project?
The S.D.A.T. program was created to offer business owners free design advice on sustainable applications such as geothermal, green roofs, solar power and wind power.
Information on storm water management, indoor air quality, material resources and advice on gaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification is also available.
The Sustainable Design Advisory Team is composed of volunteer professionals from Rock Island businesses. Team members include architects, attorneys, engineers, and urban planners.
