CDBG Allocation Process/Schedule

The Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) reviews the CDBG applications and makes allocation recommendations based on CDBG allocation policies established by City Council. The CAC submits its allocation recommendations to the City Council, which has the final authority to decide how the funds are allocated.

Citizen Participation

The Citizen Participation Plan describes the process for involving Rock Island citizens and other interested parties in the CDBG planning and allocation process. Part of the allocation process involves a series of meetings conducted by the CAC.
