After School Program

The hours from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm can be the toughest hours during the day for many youth. In response, the Martin Luther King Center offers an After School Program for youth ages six to 17. The program offers time to do homework, tutoring in basic skills, and enrichment programs to encourage original and creative thinking. An application must be completed to attend.

After-School Program Activities include:

  • Homework help
  • Reading and math activities
  • Reward trips
  • Character building
  • Teamwork activities
  • Life Skills and Prevention programs
  • Snacks and Kid’s Café
  • Transportation assistant
