Station #2 was built in 1974 and services Southwest Rock Island, the Highland Springs area, and Bally's Quad Cities Casino & Hotel. 

The following vehicle is housed at Fire Station #2:

Engine 32: 2005 1500 GPM Alexis Engine. Engine 32 serves Southwest Rock Island, providing firefighting capabilities, and paramedic advanced life support (ALS). Additional specialized equipment on Engine 32 includes water and ice rescue equipment.
