About the Park 

Mel McKay boasts 30 acres of green space with plenty of room to roam. The park is named after a former Rock Island Mayor Mel McKay (1945-1953).

Mel McKay Park has pickleball courts located on the east side of the park.

Park Rental Information 

Mel McKay Park has one small shelter available for a picnic or party. Rental is available after April 1 each year.
