With opening day for Quad Cities River Bandits baseball less than a month off, Wednesday, March 7 is a great time for talking baseball.
The Rock Island Public Library is hosting a free talk by Jacqueline Holm, assistant general manager of the Quad City River Bandits on Wednesday, March 7, at 6:00 pm in the Downtown Library, 401 19th Street. Holm will provide some insight on what it takes to run a baseball team, and what it's like to be a front office executive with a winning team. Bring your questions, and join us for a fun evening of talking about baseball.
Jacqueline Holm joined the River Bandits as the Vice President of Ticketing in January of 2016 for her 5th season in minor league baseball. In March of that same year, she was promoted to Assistant General Manager. Prior to joining the Quad Cities River Bandits, Jacqueline spent four seasons in the Atlantic League with the Sugar Land Skeeters. She began as an intern in the inaugural season of 2012 and continued on for three additional seasons, eventually becoming the Director of Corporate Partnerships and the teams on-field host.
The event is free and no registration is required.
