Bring your wild things to the Figge Museum June 19- 25 and show your Rock Island Public Library card for free admission to the museum, and the special exhibit, "Maurice Sendak: Where the Wild Things Are."

Free admission to the Figge Art Museum for Rock Island Library cardholders is available next week, Tuesday, June 19 through Sunday, June 24. (The Figge Museum is closed on Mondays.)The special is provided as part of the Rock Island Public Library Foundation sponsorship of the Figge Museum exhibit, Maurice Sendak: Where the Wild Things Are. The exhibition of illustrations from the noted children's book author and illustrator runs until August 12.

To enter, show your Rock Island Public Library card at the Museum Store for admission at no charge. For questions or details about the offer, please contact the Figge during public museum hours at 563.326.7804 x2026. The museum is located at 225 West Second Street in Davenport, Iowa.

For admission at other times, Figge Museum family passes may be checked out in person at Rock Island Public Library locations with a current card from an Illinois Quad City public library. Please contact the library for details and availability.
