Holiday Refuse Collection – Refuse, recycling and yard waste collection schedule will be on the normal schedule during the week of Veteran’s Day holiday. The Drop-Off Center located at Millennium Waste; 1360 Knoxville Road in Milan will be open on Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. The City of Rock Island offices will be open.
29th Annual Quad City Christmas Arts & Crafts – On November 23, 24 and 25, 2018 the QCCA Expo Center will hold their annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair. There will be 200 exhibitors showing off their hand crafted products. Friday and Saturday the fair will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with Sunday being from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 29th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner – The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center is delighted to invite Quad City citizens to its Thanksgiving Holiday dinner on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Come out to enjoy a free hot holiday meal and mingle with family and friends from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the King Center, located at 630 9th Street in Rock Island.
