In cooperation with the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Q2030 initiative, the Rock Island Public Library will host two “Big Table” discussions on Friday, April 26 at the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street, Rock Island.
The first gathering is offered in partnership with the Midwest Writing Center at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26. This table discussion will revolve around the Quad Cities writing community, growing local writers and readers, and how writing can enhance anyone’s life.
The second event follow at 3:00 pm, and will be a more traditional discussion about our community, exploring topics of the Q2030 initiative of being cool, creative, connected, and prosperous.
Both discussions are open to anyone, and will be held in the Downtown Library Community Room. The open discussions support both the library's strategic goal of supporting community connections, and the Q2030 initiative of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce.
