Candidates for office in the City of Rock Island may pick up a campaign packet beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. in the Interim City Clerk/Executive Assistant’s office, 1528 Third Avenue, 1st Floor. The packets include general information regarding the election and the necessary forms for nomination.

Offices to be elected in Rock Island in 2021 include Mayor, Alderman Ward One (1), Alderman Ward Three (3), Alderman Ward Five (5) and Alderman Ward Seven (7).

The Consolidated Primary Election will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021, only if there are more than four (4) candidates running for the same office.

The Consolidated Municipal Election will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Filing for all candidates will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 through Monday, November 23, 2020 in the Interim City Clerk/Executive Assistant’s office during the regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
