History is all around us. Learn about the history beneath your feet with a free talk Monday by Rock Island Public Library Special Collections Librarian James Shearouse.
History Beneath Our Feet will be offered Monday, June 5, from 6pm to 7pm at the Rock Island Watts-Midtown Branch, 21715 30th Street. The presentation in the branch’s auditorium covers historic markers, events, places, and people that form the history of Rock Island and of Arsenal Island.
The event is free and open to all.
