Level Up with Free Family Fun by taking advantage of up to 150 free events at the Rock Island Public Library – including a live snake and reptile show with Shadowland Serpentry, of Rock Island!
Shadowland Serpentry will present two educational reptile programs on Thursday, June 12. The first is at 10:30 am at the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street, and the second at 1 pm, at the Rock Island Southwest Branch, 9010 Ridgewood Road. Both are free and open to anyone.
The show brings people of all ages closer to the world of reptiles and amphibians in a fun, safe, and memorable way. Shadowland Serpentry brings eight to 10 reptile ambassadors to the library to showcase their unique adaptations, behaviors, and ecological roles. The hands-on learning experience introduces families to the fascinating world of reptiles to inspire curiosity and respect for these often-misunderstood creatures. For those who want to read further about the world of snakes and reptiles, check out the library’s collection!
