All Rock Island Public Library locations open at noon on Friday, February 6 to allow all staff to attend a morning training meeting.
This late opening affects the Rock Island Downtown Library, 401 19th Street; Rock Island Library Southwest Branch, 9010 Ridgewood Road, and Rock Island Library Watts-Midtown Branch, 2715 30th Street. All three locations are open from noon to 6 pm that day.
As a result of this revised schedule, the Friday storytime at the Watts-Midtown Branch is cancelled. It returns the following week.
