What is the Water Service Repair Program and the Sewer Lateral Repair Program?
The City of Rock Island offers a Water Service Repair Program and a Sewer Lateral Repair Program that will protect property owners from the unexpected financial burden caused by a water service or sewer lateral repair. The Water Service Repair Program costs $5 per month and pays up to $12,000 for the repair or replacement of leaking water services. The Sewer Lateral repair Program costs $9 per month pays up to $12,000 for the repair or replacement of a failed sewer lateral.
