Rock Island Parks and Recreation Offers Egg Hunts in the Pool
Rock Island Parks and Recreation is offering two fun aquatic events at the Rock Island Fitness and Activity Center (RIFAC). Families can enjoy the popular Underwater Egg Hunt, as well as a welcoming All Abilities Egg Hunt Swim Party designed for individuals with disabilities.
The Underwater Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 28. Participants can register for time slots at 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., or take part in a special deep end dive at 4:00 p.m. (participants must pass a swim test, as some eggs will float while others sink). Children will collect empty eggs from the pool and turn them in for an egg-cellent goodie bag. Registration is $10 per participant. Children under 48 inches tall must have an adult in the pool with them. Registration closes on Friday, March 27.
