The Finance Department is responsible for sending out bills and collecting fees for all other departments in the City of Rock Island.

Types of Bills Paid Through eRock or Automatic Withdrawal

Many bills can be paid electronically through eRock or set up for automatic withdrawal from your checking account including:

Making Payments

Payments can be made in the Finance Department from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Acceptable forms of payment are:

• Cash
• Credit or debit cards (Visa or MasterCard)
• Personal or business check – ID required (checks will not be accepted for payment of certain fines or past due utility bills)

A drop box is located at Third Avenue and 16th Street for your convenience. Payments received prior to 7:00 am will be posted on the same day.
