The Elderly Service Officer, Spencer Brooks, is a member of the patrol division specially trained to play a more active role in preventing and investigating crimes against the older population.
The Elderly Service Program is another form of the Rock Island Police Department’s community-oriented policing efforts designed to work with senior citizens to enhance their quality of life within the community.
